Healing of Anianus by St Mark – Cima

Saint Mark, the first patriarch of Alexandria, goes to the cobbler to have his shoe fixed. The cobbler's hand is hurt, so Saint Mark heals it by a miracle. The cobbler, Anianus, later follows Saint Mark and succeeds the evangelist as the second patriarch of Alexandria, in the first century. This depiction of Saint Mark healing Anianus is by G. Cima.
