Pope Leo XIII


Pope Leo XIII, born Vincenzo Gioacchino Raffaele Luigi Pecci, was a great reformer pope and defender of Church and Natural Law, during his long reign (1878-1903). His most famous papal encyclical is Rerum Novarum, which advocates for Catholic society and human rights, condemning the tenets of Marxism and Modernism.
