Israelites Gather Manna in the Desert – Rubens

The Jewish people, God's chosen people, the Israelites, are lead into the desert by Moses out of Egypt to the promised land. In the desert, God feeds them by sending Manna (bread) from heaven every morning and they would collect as much as they needed for the day. Artwork by P. Rubens.
