It is Consummated – Tissot

This unique depiction of the Savior's final moment on the Cross was painted by nineteenth-century artist, J. Tissot. Unlike most renditions of the Crucifixion, we see the Trinity in Heaven, as well as many of the ancient prophets of the Old Testament. The triangle, symbolizing the Blessed Trinity, also forms part of a six-pointed Star of David. On the Star, the word "Lord" is written in Hebrew. The prophets, standing below the Star, raise their scrolls in triumph, as their prophecies are being fulfilled and the gate of Heaven opened to them. Meanwhile, back on earth, the holy women and St. John mourn the death of Christ as He says His final words before dying: "It is consummated."
