St. John Altarpiece (Complete) brings all three panels of Hans Burgkmair's 1518 altarpiece together as one continuous painting. At the center, St. John the Evangelist sits beneath the palms of Patmos with his eagle at his side, looking up at the vision of the Woman clothed with the sun as he writes the Book of Revelation. On the left stands St. Erasmus with the windlass of his martyrdom. On the right, St. Martin of Tours, in bishop's vestments, gives alms to a beggar.
We removed the frames and joined the two wings to the center panel so the landscape runs across the whole altarpiece. This complete version is available only from Restored Traditions.
