St. Paul's Conversion on the Road to Damascus – Caravaggio


Caravaggio painted this rendition of St. Paul being struck off his horse by God while travelling to Damascus. Paul, who had been a dominant force in persecuting early Christians, was subsequently converted after God spoke directly to him while he was on the ground. Check out our blog post on this artwork
