This painting, by the Master of Liesborn, of Saints John the Evangelist, Scholastica the Abbess, and Benedict the Abbot, is a fragment of the Crucifixion image on the central panel of the Liesborn High Altarpiece. The crook of St. Scholastica's crozier is ornamented with a carving of the Sacrifice of Isaac, a common parallel to the Crucifixion.
